Here is a photo from August with our friends in the honey house. I think at this point our job is finished. We have lots of jars ready to sell.
The honey house is kept warm so the honey flows well but despite it being warm, our friends come out to give us a hand. We have been extracting honey for a few years now. We usually put our honey in the jars in August and again in September. There are about six of us who help with extraction, filling the jars, adding the labels and stacking the boxes. It’s a lot of work but our customers love our honey, so it is all worth it. Here is just one photo of the flowers around the farm. The bees really love the flowers on our farm, (and so do we)! lol
We decided to give our jars a new label and we also have a new road sign for Tommy B’s honey.
We usually jar our honey in August and September. We always have a great time as friends and family come to the honey house to help out.
